Develop a spray-dried dispersion (SDD) formulation to improve the solubility and performance of a poorly water-soluble compound through polymer screening and comprehensive physicochemical characterization. The development program included:
• Polymer carrier screening
• Spray-dried dispersion formulation development
• Characterization using XRPD
• Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC)
• Kinetic solubility evaluation
• Polarized light microscopy

Results
The optimized polymer selection significantly improved the solubility profile of the API and established a robust SDD formulation suitable for further development.
